If you are starting to repair the device for the first time, pay attention to this tutorial — First time repairing.

The necessary tools and screwdrivers for disassembling the iPhone 7:

  1. Three-winglets screwdriver (Tri-Wing Y0) – 0,6mm
  2. Screwdriver five-star – 0,8mm
  3. Phillips screwdriver – PH00 1.5mm
  4. Suction cup for removing touchscreens
  5. Plastic mediator
  6. Hairdryer
  7. Waterproof Adhesive Tape

How to disassemble iPhone 7 and replace display module

  1. Unscrew two screws on the bottom of iPhone.
  2. Remove the SIM card tray.
  3. Display glued around perimeter of iPhone and we need to heat the surface of iPhone for open it.
  4. For this, I use a hairdryer because this will make it easier to remove the display.
  5. Set suction cup on display near home button and pull up. Use a plastic tool for separation phone case and display.
  6. By easy and carefully moves, separate the display from iPhone case.
  7. Pull the display slightly away from the top edge of iPhone to disengage the clips holding it to the rear case.
  8. Open iPhone by swinging the display up from the left side, like a book.
  9. Remove the following four screws securing the lower display cable bracket to the logic board by tri-point screwdriver
  10. Remove two screws securing the bracket by PH0 screwdriver.
  11. Use plastic spudger to disconnect connectors, but the first disconnect the battery connector.
  12. Now you can remove the display module.

  1. Remove all screws securing the speaker bracket and remove speaker.
  2. Remove one screw and gently fold the camera and attached ribbon cable.
  3. Remove four screws securing the bracket over the home button and remove all screws of the display shield.
  4. Pry under left edge of home button cable connector to disconnect it from its socket. Next, gently separate the adhesive holding the Touch ID sensor cable to the backside of display module.
  5. Remove home button.


Replace the battery on iPhone 7

  1. Remove three screws securing the Taptic Engine to the rear case.
  2. Slowly pull one battery adhesive tab away from the battery.
  3. Now you can remove battery. In description of this video, I left link where you can buy new battery for iPhone 7.
  4. On new battery, apply the adhesive tape and install the battery in iPhone case.

  1. Unscrew the two screws that fix the camera.
  2. Disconnect the camera cable from the logic board and remove the main camera of iPhone.

  2. Unscrew the two screws that fix the camera.
  3. Disconnect the camera cable from the logic board and remove the main camera.

  5. Use plastic tool to disconnect three connectors out of its socket on the logic board.
  6. Now you can remove logic board of iPhone 7
