Disassembly Process
ASUS MeMO Pad (ME301T) consists of various modules. This chapter describes the procedures for the complete EPAD ME301 disassembly. In addition, in between procedures, the detailed disassembly procedure of individual modules will be provided for your needs.
The disassembly procedure consists of the following steps:
- Cover Module
- Battery Module
- Main Board
- Touch Panel Board
- Speaker Module
Cover Module
The illustrations below show how to remove the cover module from the EPAD ME301.
1. Use plastic blade to pry 4 sides of the bottom case along the following directions.
2. Remove the bottom case.
Battery Module
The illustrations below show how to remove the battery module from the EPAD ME301.
1. Carefully tear off the foil and the sticker.
2. Disconnect the battery cable and LVDS cable and take LVDS cable away.
3. Loosen 4 screws to remove the battery.
Main Board
The illustrations below show how to remove the main board from the EPAD ME301.
1. Disconnect TP FPC, Vol key FPC, Power key FPC, camera and speakers one by one.
2. Tear off the foil and lift up camera module.
3. Open the latch to release Vol key FPC and unplug speaker cable.
4. Open the latches to release TP FPC, Power key FPC and unplug speaker cable.
5. Loosen 6 screws to remove the main board.
6. Disconnect front camera and MIC rubber cap.
Touch Panel Board
The illustrations below show how to remove the touch panel board from the EPAD ME301.
1. Open the latches to release LCD FPC and loosen 3 screws to remove touch panel.
Speaker Module
The illustrations below show how to remove the speaker module from the EPAD ME301.
1. Remove 1 screw from the left hand side speaker and remove both speakers.
